Train ride from Moscow to Irkutsk was smooth, fun, visually inspiring and enjoyable. People are super friendly, moderate and not selfish in their behavior what so ever, even the small kids travelling are well behaved. I guess different upbringing here – not to be misunderstood as criticism on how kids are raised in our part of the world 🙂 As a matter of fact their playing, talking and singing gave this ride a very calming and pleasant atmosphere.

We went through various different weather conditions from very warm in Moscow to moderate warm to snowy areas to warmer again.

The scenery was breathtaking …. I spent hours looking outside of the window. Obviously the wood industry is a major provider here; just hope that some of the forrested areas get replanted ……..
