Outside the City / May 16th…. 4 days after

2 days after I arrived in Kathmandu, exactly 2 days after the second earth quake, we – my back than guides, now friends (!) – went to Bhaktapur Durbar Square.  It is 13km outside of Kathmandu. It’s one of the 3 Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, and like the all 3 a UNESCO World…

You will not believe that / hipster-like  Monk

I  see a lot of “new genaration monks” here with mobile devices, cool sneakers and fashionable arrangements (jackets, sneakers and bags, backpacks)  within their colour palette & designs, which are of limited nature as we know. But as we can see has some room for interpretation 🙂 Today I actually saw my FIRST TIME EVER…

Rebuild in Action / “Tomorrow?” “Yes.”

Evening / mystic atmosphere

This is what I saw yesterday evening on my way back to the guest house. I remember this atmosphere from my first trip to the city.  Everyday I buy 5 lights that cost 50 Nepales Rupees = 0,43€.         Few from the restaurant with very good wifi. I bought a beer and shared it…
