Before I came to Kathmandu it was my goal to find an NGO to do some volunteer work. The lady form my guest house helped me with my search. We took some time to find the right Chinese tends but we were successful:

I will support a group by taking care of 11 orphans. Briefing was simple: “Please just play with them and teach them some English. One brother and sister just lost their parents and they need them comforting and physical contact. …. You could also help me with English international mails as my English is not that good.”

“What shall I bring?”

“Your laptop and maybe some toys for the children.”

I bought 11 and some cookies as well. Today at 9am my motorcycle taxi is coming to pick me up.
