What else can one wish for than a sunny day and a great taxi driver to leave a big and hectic city such as Beijing. Less hectic thanks to Hong Fei who helped me bringing all my staff to the post office – just a few bags – and even taking the parcel to her office so that she can post it tomorrow. Timing-challenges like 12 years ago is what she said, when we used to work at UNICEF together… Hmmmm

Nothing wrong with some consistency, right?

  

 
Checking in was easy and straight forward. My flight had 2 stop overs. The second proved to be a challenge as they didn’t easily wanted to get me on board. I had to sign a waiver in case I would not allowed to enter Nepal.
The flight to Lasa was pretty full. We had about 50 min stop over and we were 10 people on the entire plane. Every body was super friendly and helpful to us.

I was very nervous to be honest, but without a reason as I learned later.
